Two and a half weeks ago I got sick and couldn't play in clay. Then it was our birthdays, stayed out of clay, this week I've been sewing for our Humane Society Shelter. Would you like to see what? Well, myself and a couple other ladies are sewing cat blocks to make a quilt. The colors are vibrant and when it comes together I think it will be cute. Here are a couple of the blocks I've done.
I am so hoping I can get back into my clay, I am missing it something awful!
Well, thanks for stopping by and take care
I hope you're feeling better from your bought with sickness and that you can get back to your clay soon! I know how creative withdraws really can affect you o.O
ReplyDeleteAlthough your sewing project for the humane society is just darling!
Thank you Kayla!
DeleteOh, you make me miss my quilting! I want to work some of that in this year between the necklaces and the earrings. Hope you are feeling better.
ReplyDeleteAll better, thank you. Years ago when I quilted, I hated the piecing process, but I really enjoyed doing these.
DeleteThese are so adorable, Marti! It's great to have more than one creative outlet, though I imagine you do miss your beads! I've had very little time for jewelry and component work the past few weeks also, and it's driving me batty! Hope we can both get back to what we love soon!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sharyl, I'm wet sanding today! yay!
