This was the cutest idea, I am liking this Hopping and this was another good one. What I wasn't happy with was with the idea I had of putting my piece together for Marlene and it would NOT work out the way I wanted.
Marlene Cupo sent me the cutest polymer clay piece. Our theme was National Dog Biscuit day which just happens to be February 23, my husband's birthday. Here is the piece Marlene made for me!
Isn't it adorable? Rusty in the doghouse, Millie just hanging around with her box of dog biscuits close by! She is daddy's girl after all!
Here is the piece I sent Marlene. I wanted it to be a charm bracelet or even a charm necklace and I wasn't happy with either, so when all else fails, I make a key chain!
I'd made these charms last year and the little flower separators the same time. I really like the speckled stoneware, as you probably know by now! So all of them are impressed with dog bones and dog paws with the little doggie in the middle to celebrate National Dog Biscuit day!
Marlene, I hope you liked it.
Here is the list of hoppers!

Thanks for stopping by, take care!
What an sweet little sculpture, Marti... you must have had a great chuckle when you opened it! I love your little charm collection. I think keychains are a wonderful display area... I know my keys are always hooked to my purse so those items probably get the most exposure of anything I carry with me. Some days I rush out of the house without any jewellery on, but you can be sure I don't get far without my trusty keychain LOL.
ReplyDeleteI just adore that cute dog house, such talent. I love the key chain you made for Marlene.
ReplyDeleteMy Miss Azure is all in favor of this holiday as is her Daddy who spoils her with biscuits for going to the bathroom. Sigh. Glad you both had fun and made things that will give you joy to look at.
ReplyDeleteVery cute key chain! The dog house just makes me laugh. Very cool.
ReplyDeleteGreat post and such cool pieces. This really was a great hop :-)
ReplyDeleteSo glad Rusty and you got a kick out of my "idea". Is he out of the doghouse yet? The key chain is doing full time duty on my car keys, and love having them there. Thanks so much for joining us in this Holiday Celebration.
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable keychain! I love how you and Marlene celebrated your holiday. The piece that Marlene made for you is too cute, and symbolizes National Dog Biscuit Day, in the doghouse! Love it!
